Each rating produced by QS I-GAUGE is strictly monitored for quality control by the QS Intelligence Unit (IU) in London. This is the same team that produces the authoritative QS World University Rankings (since 2004) and related regional and subject rankings, as well as the globally recognised QS STARS university ratings system. Close supervision by QS (IU) ensures the independence, quality, and integrity of the ratings, leading to their global recognition.

QS I-GAUGE rating methodology encompasses a comprehensive set of parameters that assess the quality of education offered by an institution.

Tailored ratings for Universities, Colleges, and Schools include diverse sets of core and advanced criteria like Teaching and Learning, Employability, Research, Competency Development, Internationalisation and more. Coupled with stakeholder satisfaction surveys, our methodology encompasses a robust 360-degree assessment for all educational institutions.

Our methodology is evidence-driven, transparent, and holistic, ensuring a thorough evaluation.

The Process

Our analysts guide institutions through every step of the rating process. The assessment undergoes rigorous peer and quality reviews to ensure accuracy and reliability.

To maintain transparency and uphold the highest quality standards, the process is supervised by the QS Intelligence Unit in London, UK, renowned for producing the prestigious QS World University Rankings.

Institutions receive an interim report before releasing the final results, giving them the opportunity to reflect on their data submissions. This stage allows institutions to ensure they have provided all relevant data for a complete analysis and to submit any missing information. The goal of this process is not to highlight shortcomings but to enable and empower institutions to achieve their best outcomes.

Our rating process culminates in awarding institutions with distinguished badges that range from Bronze to Platinum+. These badges are granted based on our comprehensive assessments across various parameters, reflecting the institution's dedication to excellence. Institutions receive an overall rating badge and criteria-specific badges, allowing them to showcase their strengths to all stakeholders.

Additionally, each institution is provided with a rating certificate and an exclusive developmental roadmap. This roadmap outlines their achievements and areas for potential growth, guiding them toward continual improvement.

All results are published on our website, where students, parents and other stakeholders can view them for effective decision-making.
