Little Kingdom is run by Deepam Trust, which is situated in a serene and calm locale on the outskirts of Tirupur. The school was started in the year 1999, October 10, and it is the first CBSE school in Tirupur (knit city) to be affiliated to 12th standard by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The founder of the school, Mrs D Hema, felt the need to give quality education to the children of Knit City and hence chose the CBSE board, which gives ample space for each and every child to experience learning through doing and also the individual Skill of every child is sensed, and the potential brought out with uniqueness. The school gives ample freedom to the children to express their thoughts.
The school caters to the needs of students from Playschool to 12th. The school is situated in a serene environment conducive to learning. Here in the Little Kingdom, the students are holistically taken care of by involving them in a variety of activities, be it in academics, sports or extracurricular activities. The school is child-centric, and every child who steps in is given ample space to develop himself/herself into a beautiful human being.
The campus is eco-friendly and has structures erected on the campus built with eco-bricks made by the students with plastic bottles and plastic bags. The students are aware of their environment, and they make sure that their place is always kept spick and span.
Life skills and experiential learning are given great emphasis. Students learn best when they apply what they learn, and that’s exactly what happens in Little Kingdom.
